Written and performed by Robert Ginty and Nicholas Barton-Wines
One day Dennis awakes to find the sun has not risen that morning.
Searching to find answers, he soon realises he is the only person to notice.
In a world where the cities have expanded to take all the land, and people are more interested in their phones than what is right in front of them,
an old man tries to alert others through any means possible before it’s too late.
Will he be able to get the news astronomical?
Will he be able to bring the world back onto the right path?
Can he save humanity?
A theatre-storytelling piece told through a guy with a microphone and another guy with a guitar and a loop pedal, And There Was Evening is an adventure story filled with vivid imagery and a tender narrative to collide the joy of being told a tale as a child with the hard realities of life as an adult.
Originally performed as part of RCS Bridge Week 2015
And There Was Evening is looking for more performance dates in 2019. Please get in touch via email for more information.
