Praised for it’s interrogation of a couple unable to communicate affection intimately, Through The Leaves is a well known German contemporary classic. The production played the Mercury Theatre Studio and featured artistic director Dee Evans in her first acting role in over twenty years.

This was the production where I learnt some of the founding principles of my directing practice from Tony Casement. Many of the lessons during his guidance are still with me today. This was an opportunity to observe, reflect, question, and learn about what is required of a director.
